A 14 -year -old boy was arrested in the fatal shooting of a 16 -year -old girl at Bronx.
The officers responded to a report of a female shot near Home Street and Tinton Avenue at the Bronx around 5:05 pm on Monday, according to a police spokesman.
The victim, Evette Jeffrey, was found “unconscious and insensitive” with a gunshot wound in the head.
He was later declared dead.

Jeffrey was visiting her boyfriend in a school near the shooting site, according to Fox 5 New York, which the police identified as Bronx Latin Intermediate School No. 158.
