I was born on 13th November 1998 in Neuss, a town in Nordrhein-Westfalen in the northwest of Germany. The first two years of my life I grew up in Neuss together with my older brother and my parents. In 2001 we moved to Grevenbroich, where I spent my youth and where I now live for myself. During my whole childhood I was always very fond of sports. I trained martial arts for over 7 years and played soccer for about 2 years, but after my parents divorced when I was 13 years old I had difficulties to deal with my parents’ situation and with myself becoming a teenager, so I stopped doing all the sports I did during that time. I started training in a gym at the age of 15, after my parents almost forced me to look for a new sport. At that time I wanted to practice a sport where I was independent of training times, which I can only do if I want to take time for it. This was certainly the best decision I could make from a sporting point of view, and I have never regretted it.

Today it is not just a sport for me, but it is so deeply integrated into my life, into my everyday life, into my head, that I can’t imagine not doing it anymore. At school I was always smiled at at the beginning, because the first successes made me feel like a hulk and I probably acted like one, but today I am asked how I made it this far. I was never the athletic type, or the party person, or one of the cool kids in my class, but that never interested me. I myself was my only focus, and I guess lifting weights made me the person I am today.
To this day I have been in weight training for 6 years and in powerlifting for almost 1.5 years. My career has just begun, but I know what I want and what it takes to achieve what I want. My philosophy of life is to never give up, always work on myself and become successful in what I do.
