The student of “Survivor” Teeny Chirichillo came out as a transgender in a new sincere essay.

The 24 -year -old recognized that he fought with his identity through his time in season 47, which was broadcast last year, and is still discovering it today.

“The state of my life since ‘Survivor’ has been full of uncertainty,” he wrote for Cosmopolitan on Wednesday.

“I made a spouse or a full -time race return, as many of my cast partners did. I made the passion to replace the search for 15 years that I was choosing. When I think of my future, there is a lot of pure handling. My identity in the approach, inside the museum of my own transserca.”

Chirichillo, who identified himself as non -binary while competing in the CBS program, recalled having read the “invasive” comments online immediately after the route of his season in early 2024.

“Just knowing this, when writing this, there is a part of my brain that cannot be closed,” he wrote.

Chirichillo shared that he or asked his parents, grandmother and girlfriend feeling his transgender, in addition to worrying about the cost of testosterone injections.

“I do not hope that everyone reaches the same level of ease with my genre that I have reached after a life of suppression and then explored childhood in my soul,” he concluded. “But I know who I am.”
