A day after brushing the media after a first -round implosion in the first round of the Masters, the Irish of the North went up to the top three after shooting 66 second round in Augusta National.
Mcilroy increased in the second half of his Friday’s round, hitting consecutive birdies in the holes for 4 and 11, adding an eagle in par 5 13 and another Birdie in par 5.
That came after his impressive Birdie in the second hole Par 5, where he had to hit behind a tree.
That end is in a marked contrast with its beginnings of Thursday, in which it ended even at 72 years after two bogeys in holes no. 15 and 17.
Mcilroy, 35, chose not to speak with journalists after getting rid.
There is a decent round of Chans’s Friday left him in a more susceptible mood.
