The probation hearing for the Méndez brothers has been prescribed for August, according to California officials.
Lyle and Erik Menéndez are now scheduled to appear at their hearing on probation on August 21 and 22, a spokesman for the California corrections and rehabilitation department confirmed to Fox News Digital.
The audience was originally scheduled for June 13.

Earlier this month, the office of the governor of California Gavin Newsom said that the clemency hearing of the brothers was becoming a probation of probation after the governor withdrew his request from a clemency investigation.
While the probation Board will recommend whether the two men should be granted early launch, Newsom can still approve or deny the decision.
A Facebook publication from Lyle Méndez confirmed the postponed audience.

“Take a break from my rest to confirm the news that has been reported today,” says the publication. “The children’s probation hearing date has postponed on August 21/22.”

The two brothers were resonent by the Judge of the Superior Court of the Los Angeles County, Michael Jesus, earlier this month, 50 years of life, which makes them eligible for probation. The couple was originally sentenced to life imprisonment without probation for their sentence in 1996 after murdering their parents in 1989.
The brothers have argued that they carried out the murders in self -defense after years of abuse of their father. 35 years have passed behind bars.
