Lauren Graham has an exciting idea for another Gilmore Girls reboot.
In this morning’s episode or The Drew Barrymore Show, The presenter Drew Barrymore asked the actress if she would be open to play her role as Lorelai Gilmore.
“It’s fun, right? Yes. I always say yes because it’s my favorite character,” Graham said.
The star played Lorelai, the rebel and ingenious mother of Rory Gilmore (Alexis Bledel) and daughter of Emily Gilmore (Kelly Bishop), during the seven seasons of Gilmore Girls, which was issued from 2000 to 2007. According to Graham, it could not have been happier when the cast met in 2016 for a miniseries of four episodes called Gilmore Girls: one year in life.
“For me to return, I was in a cloud. It was pure joy,” Graham said, referring to the 2016 reset.
Like the rest of us, Graham was hoping that this was not his last visit to Stars Hollow. He Paternity Star revealed that he recently told the creator of the Amy Sherman-Palladino program about an idea for a second Gilmore Girls Restart that he is sitting on the leg for a while.
“For me, something that I love in England more than they do here is as if you had a season of a program you have loved – Downton Abbey It was one for me, and then they like A Christmas by Downton Abbey,“Graham explained.
She continued: “You can visit your characters, but it’s not like a complete restart of everything. So that is my idea that has not been sanctioned by anyone.”
Barrymore told Graham enthusiasm that “everyone would be there” for a potential Gilmore Girls Christmas special.
