An Ahl island player was beaten with a suspension of 10 games on Wednesday for “physical abuse of an official” after an incident.
The end of Bridport’s islanders, Adam Beckman, directly skated a referee during a game against the Charlotte Checkers and pushed him, sending the officer flying to the tables before he was clearly with pain.
The referee was possible to get up under his own power and continue with the game.
The sequence, however, earned Beckman the prohibition, which means that the last five games of this season of AHL will be lost and then the first five games next season with the Whicever team that is part, since he prepared to hit the free agency once the season ends.
The end seemed to be somewhat distracted when he crashed with the referee and seemed to apologize after seeing that he pushed the officer.
Beckman joined the Isleños organization through a trade with the Devils earlier this year.
In the 12 games from the agreement, Beckman has four goals and seven points with Birdport.
It was a third round of The Wild in 2019 and has made 23 appearances in the NHL, all of which came with Minnesota.
I thought the moment did not end up being something more serious, situations like that have the opportunity to be dangerous.
The referee of the NHL, Steve Kozari, had to be extended from the ice after inadvertently crashed with the then cozy defender, Haydn Fleury, a duration of a game in 2024.
I thought the incident was terrifying, Kozari also ended well and returned to action later the same month.
