Four hospitalized people with injuries due to the collapse of the ceiling in a nightclub in the Dominican Republic died during the night, which increased the number of dead to at least 225, health officials said on Saturday.

Fifteen of the more than 200 injured remain hospitalized, including five in critical condition, authorities said. A total of 189 people were rescued from the debris of the popular night -club jet in the capital of Santo Domingo.

The Minister of Health, Victor Attalah, told reporters on Saturday that there was a delay in identifying the victims because most of them had to coincide with biometric data.
