From New York to the lush landscapes of Costa Rica. Her journey into yoga became a personal transformation. Born in Tel Aviv. Relocating to the jungle to establish a serene wellness center where nature and tranquility converge to nuture body, mind, and spirit.

What inspired you to become a yoga instructor?
As a professional ballet dancer for over a decade, I honed my understanding of alignment, structure, and discipline. But when I discovered yoga in 2010, I felt a profound shift. It wasn’t just about movement – it was about cultivating presence, breath, and inner connection. This realization led me to pursue yoga teacher training in NY. With my ballet background informing my approach to alignment and discipline, I knew I’d found something powerful to share with others.
I’m a certified yoga instructor, Breathwork Instructor, and Stretching Coach. I also hold E-RYT and YACEP credentials from Yoga Alliance. For me, learning never ends—it’s part of the journey and ensures I give my best to my students.
My students are my greatest teachers. Watching their growth, their transformation—that’s what fuels me. My classes go beyond the physical. I integrate breathwork, meditation, and spiritual principles into every session. It’s not just a workout—it’s a work-in a healing journey for the body, mind, and soul.”

What areas of health are you particularly passionate about, and how do you think they impact your overall well-being?
I’ve been drawn to spirituality from a young age, pondering life’s mysteries and the cosmos. This curiosity led me to explore ancient teachings like Yoga, Kabbalah, Zen, Buddhism, and Taoism. Through years of studying Kabbalah and other philosophies, I’ve gained insight into our interconnectedness with each other and the universe. These teachings guide my approach to holding space for others, focusing on inner transformation and growth, beyond just physical movement.
I’m passionate about everything within the realms of health, especially herbs, healthy food, Chinese medicine, and Ayurveda. I find that nourishing my physical body makes my mental and emotional life easier. I also believe that honoring our connection to nature and living accordingly brings balance and harmony. Nature is a big teacher for me, and I find inspiration in its patience, intelligence, and rhythm. Music and nature are especially inspiring to me, and I love life fully.

What inspired you to create Norte Yoga and Surf Hotel?
When I discovered the land in Nosara, I felt an instant connection. I knew I wanted to create a haven for peace, healing, and growth. Norte is more than just a retreat – it’s a space designed to foster lasting inner transformation. I’m passionate about bringing together talented teachers from around the world to share their expertise and inspire others. Nosara’s unique energy attracts like-minded individuals seeking a meaningful, healthy, and nature-connected lifestyle. Our motto, “Wander to places where the wifi is weak and the connection to others is strong,” reflects our commitment to community and simplicity.

What drives your passion for teaching yoga, and how do you incorporate spirituality into your classes?
My students’ journeys inspire me every day, reminding me why I teach. I weave together movement, breathwork, meditation, and spiritual insights to create a transformative space. My studies in Kabbalah have deepened my understanding of our interconnectedness, which informs my teaching approach. It’s not just about physical poses, but about cultivating lasting inner shifts that extend beyond the mat into daily life. I feel grateful for the blessings in my life and aim to give back by sharing yoga, breathwork, and meditation. Through my own journey, I’ve witnessed yoga’s transformative power, and I’m passionate about helping others experience it too. Yogic philosophy guides us toward greater presence, self-awareness, and connection to ourselves and the world.

What advice would you give to aspiring yoga instructors?
For me, it’s about prioritizing self-care. Yoga has taught me to be a good student and take care of myself first, which enables me to serve others effectively. I believe we are spiritual beings having a human experience, and we each have a unique light and magic to share. Life is precious, and we have the freedom to choose our path while also honoring our deeper purpose. I strive to stay connected to my heart, intuition, and authenticity, which guides me in both teaching and business.
I split my time between my studio in New York City and Norte Yoga and Surf Hotel in Costa Rica. There, I teach classes and lead retreats that nurture body, mind, and spirit.
