A former financial analyst at Massachusetts accused of killing her Boston Police boyfriend in a drunk blow is waiting for his destination after a second legitimate trial in a small court in Dedham.
Karen Read, 45, faces murders and other positions for the death of John or, 46,
The jurors spent a little less than two hours deliberating on Friday and returned on Monday for their first full day.
“People ask why we still don’t have a verdict,” said Grace Edwards, a massachusetts litigating lawyer who closely follows the case. “I think the jury is working hard to understand the requirements of each count and working through them.”

The first Read trial ended in a jury hanging last year after the jurors spent more than 25 hours approximately four days without reaching an agreement.
Deliberations in other high -profile murder positions vary only hours to several days.

A Florida mother accused of killing her 2 -year -old daughter Caylee, Casey Anthony was judged by positions of murder, homicide and aggravated abuse in 2011.
Caylee was missing for a month before her grandparents denounced her disappearance.
The jurors spent approximately 11 hours deliberating two days before reaching an agreement on the charges. They found Anthony not guilty of killing or abusing his daughter, but found her guilty of lying to the police.
To this day, no one has condemned the child’s death.
Scott Peterson:

In 2004, the jury condemned Scott Peterson for killing his pregnant wife Laci and leaving her in San Francisco Bay on Christmas Eve two years before.
His deliberations are customary for seven days after a trial that tok more than five months.

Initially, the jurors gave him the death sentence for first degree murder for the death of LACI and the second degree murder for his unborn son, Conner.
Peterson continues to maintain his innocence and is currently appealing his case for the third time. He had his death sentence overloaded in 2020 and is fulfilling life without probation.
Alex Murdough:

Previously an outstanding lawyer from South Carolina and a family man, Murdough was sentenced in 2023 or shot his wife and youngest son, Maggie and Paul.

After a six-week test, provided that the initial estimates-crowds deliberated for less than three hours and found it guilty of both murders more charges of weapons.
Murdough currently serves a consecutive life imprisonment. He is asking for a new trial after the Secretary of the Court in his case was accused of multiple serious crimes, allegedly including lying to a judge about the case of Murdough.

Although these evidence have a wide range of time and results, the defense lawyer of New York Louis Lorminino told Fox Digital that the longest jurors deliberate in Dedham, better things seek to read.
“My first homicide test was the longest deliberation in New York, modern history, 9 days,” he told Fox News Digital. “Jury hung. Three months later, they tried again and obtained an incorporation.”
