CEO Arrivals
Wensley to helm technology group
The Global Technology Industry Association announced Dan Wensley has been appointed inaugural CEO. GTIA was formerly known as the CompTIA Community, the membership arm of CompTIA. The new association was established earlier this year following the sale of the CompTIA training and certification brand to two private equity firms.
“I’m thrilled to see GTIA grow even stronger under Dan’s proven leadership — becoming more global, more relevant and more vocal in representing the extraordinary people, companies, and outcomes that shape the global technology ecosystem,” said Tracy Pound, outgoing GTIA board chair.
Wensley previously spent six years at software development company ScalePad, where he served as CEO and later strategic advisor. Earlier in his career, he also held leadership positions at Level Platforms, Plan 27 and PassPortal.
