The Godrej Enterprises Group furniture brand plans to increase its export footprint by expanding to German and Swedish markets in fiscal year 26.
“We are looking to develop our export income,” said Sameer Joshi, Senior Vice President and Chief of B2B Business, Interio. “We are seeing a good traction, 63 odd countries, (and) currently, the products are exporting. There are newer products that we are adding to our export basket,” he said. Business line. Exports currently contribute approximately 9.5 percent to the total revenues of the brand, which is estimated at around ₹ 3,500 million rupees for fiscal year 2015.
Regional Growth Strategy
In addition to this, the brand also expands its presence in Karnataka. “Our goal is to increase our market share to grow from 15 % to 20 % in Karnataka and Bangalore in the next three years (for fiscal year fiscal year), exceeding the general growth of the market or 7-8 percent,” said Joshi.
The inter -product portfolio in the region has seen a strong traction, partly in ergonomic chairs, well -being products, soft seat solutions and digital lockers.
The education sector presents another growth area, with Bengaluru seeing investments in international schools and university improvements. The leadership of the city in the commercial real estate sector and its high concentration of global capacity centers (GCC), feed the brand growth perspectives.
The company has established a solid network in the region with a center of experience in Indiranagar, a branch in Crescent Road and a warehouse in Nelalangala. Interio works with 45 distributors in Karnataka, including 8 in the city of Bengaluru.
B2C expansion
In the B2C Inter-segment, 104 exhibition rooms opened last year and plan to add around 50-60 exhibition rooms and 250 retail points of sale next year, said the company.
