I know some of my classmates Reddit Whoavians this weekend and it turns out that I am a girl talking boy, but I firmly suspect that they choose the location of our extra noisy place (so they did not have to talk!). They were all a bit uncomfortable and I felt that I was the only one who tried to chat. It was strange because online everyone won silent, but in real life everyone was a bit quiet. I mean, they choose a great place to have this encounter because the music was very strong and it was impossible to have a deep conversation about the lords of time. Fortunately! It is not so lucky when I went out with a little headache and feeling that I did not know the people I met outside our lives online (this really made me really nervous since I am knowing a friend online very special for the first time very soon and I hope it does not go as bad as this). PS: You know you are getting old when music at full volume gives you a migraine. Seriously, I felt covered by how strong everything was.
How many people do you remember gone to the MAC store or counter and was it like a party that only got into the team at 1 in the morning on Saturday morning in the morning? I remember it well and I was there for that. If he entered any department store and had no idea where Mac was located, he just had to follow the music to locate them. They would be surrounded by quiet and elegant counters like Laura Mercier and Dior and Mac would be there like that person playing their music in the very strong car and singing in the red light. When you are younger, you appreciate the experience, but strong music and hitting when you get old, it is no longer. Literally, I avoid any place with strong and pulsating music, since I want to enjoy my food with friends or my boyfriend in peace. Or I want to choose my tone of lipstick without the full screen being at the base of the song that is reproduced.
For those who simply cannot take that son of sensory overload, now we have times of Sephora silence. From now on July 26, in select Sephora stores, we will have a pilot program that provides a quiet purchase experience. If it works, I imagine that Sephora will continue the project.
The idea is to create an environment for people who enjoy a quieter purchase experience and one with much less a sensory stimulation environment. In other words, old aunts like me can buy without leaving the store with a headache. For this experience, they will mitigate the lights, lowering or even turning off the music and even minimizing digital screens in stores. These new hours of Sephora will occur on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10 am to 12 PM Sephora Segura hours in the following: Westfield White City, Birmingham and Trafford.
Unfortunately, the hours they are doing are not really ideal for most buyers. It would be great if they did a Sunday afternoon, since it would be a good and pleasant shopping day.
What do you think of this idea? Does the idea of Sephora Hours sound like attractive or music at full volume does not really bother you?
