The young Scottish hill runners performed well under the Slovakia sun in the Youth Internationals Cup.
The challenges included 5.3 km, 600 m of climbing, another 17 nations and temperatures in the 20 of 20 years on a upholsian course in Donovaly.
U18 aged athletes compete with the International Youth Cup that is celebrated under the auspices of the World Association of Running Mountain.
Our female team of Scotland found the difficult conditions, but showed a great determination and determination to end as seventh team in general with Nancy Corrie Ending the 19, Kirsty Rankine 23, Hania Czebreszuk In 28 and Cerys Wright In 33.
The male quartet was better with a sixth -place team effort and only six points to win a medal.
This performance is equal to our best male team in these championships since 2009.
