The official cause of actor Val Kilmer’s death has been revealed by Los Angeles County officials almost two weeks after he died after a long health battle.
He Ordinance and Gun Star died in Los Angeles at age 65 on April 1.
The official cause of death of the actor has registered as pneumonia, as reported by TMZ.
The documentation revealed by the Los Angeles County Health Department showed that Kilmer also had underlying causes.
These included acute hypoxemic respiratory failure, chronic respiratory failure and squamous cell carcinoma of the tongue base.
Other factors listed in the death certificate were malnutrition and a tracheocutaneous fistula.
The departure reported that Kilmer had been dealing with serious health problems for years, after a throat cancer battle in 2015, lost much of his voice.
At the time of his final film role, Top Gun: MaverickThat he left in 2022, they had to use AI to recreate their voice.
The kilmer trained in Juilliard accumulated more than 100 credits durable his 40 -year career, mainly on the big screen, Variety Grades.

Kilmer followed that with his first movie Smash, starring LT. Tom “Iceman” Kazansky in front of Tom Cruise in 1984s Top Gun.
He continued from there to be a vivid in Hollywood.
