Police are looking for a veterinarian who disappeared viral on a horror video that shows that he kicked a horse on his face.
Las Vegas veterinarian, Dr. Shawn D. Freehner, disappeared on Monday after the violent reaction of the disturbing video that was shared days before, with the horrified horse owner also pressing charges, Fox5 reported.
Before disappearing, Freehner had had, as he claimed that his rough handling of the horse had twisted his leg.
“I didn’t barely transported this horse as it appears in the video. That was not my intention at all,” Freehner wrote on social networks last week.
“But yes, I kicked it directly on my chin and apologized a lot and I want this to never happen.”
Emergency services have focused their search on Lake Mead, with the National Parks Service working together with the Las Vegas Metro Police and Red Rock Search and Rescue.
“It’s horrible, never, I never wanted it on him, I never wanted it about anyone,” said Shawna González, owner of the horse, the veterinarian was filmed, he told 8Newsow of the urgent search.
“This is not what I wanted in the end.”
The footage was filmed on Tuesday last week while Freehner was called to manage anesthetic shots to the horse on a property in Pahump, about 50 miles to the west or Las Vegas, Gonzalez told The Outlet.
“Listen [my mother] Shouted: “Oh, my God. He simply kicked him,” González recalled, who said she replied: “My God, mom, mom, [the horse] He drown. “
“He wrapped the horse around his neck three times, and kicked him in his head,” he told The Outlet.
“I had begun to have a serious anxiety attack and I couldn’t breathe. I was already on the floor, and my daughter lifted the phone and hit the album, and that was when she got it on a video tape, she said kicked him.
The injured horse was tasks for the treatment of abrasions to the skull, González said.
In his apology, Freehner said that his horse’s handling “was simply made to put the horse in a better position so that he could breathe, get up and move so he could try to anesthetize again.”
