The subcommittee of the House of Representatives on the Efficiency of the Government (Doge) celebrates a hearing on government waste on Tuesday, April 8.
President Marjorie Taylor Greene said in a statement:
The Federal Government of the United States has been an irresponsible owner for decades, cursing tens of billions or dollars of taxpayers. It cannot precisely track the properties that it has, including its condition, use or financial value, and continues to spend billions annually in vacant buildings. Simply deepened the pandemic, when most federal bureaucrats sat at home, the Biden administration held almost all federal properties and leases while spending millions in new office carames for empty buildings. President Trump and his administration are taking decisive measures to end this atrocious loss of taxpayers. The Doge subcommittee will work with this administration for the correct size of the fingerprint footprint of the federal government and will ensure that it acts as an administrator responsible for real estate financed by taxpayers.
