The 2025 NFL draft has arrived and left and was a great breakdown.
Some things went to chalk and others were complete surprises. This is part of Draft’s magic: there are Always Something that happens that takes us by surprise.
With the glow of the results of the results that we believe would now be the best time for us in ATE The thin publicationMichael Peterson and RJ Ochoa, to address some of the greatest things that happen through everything.
Let’s start.
Mel Kiper seemed to clash on live television, stating that the NFL has had no idea of the field marshal evaluation for more than 50 years. Was this the pot by calling the black teapot?

Miguel:
It seemed so out of the left field. The speech of Sheteur Sanders was, as expected, at the forefront of the entire NFL draft coverage due to a slide that absolutely no one outside an outside of a NFL franchise saw coming.
After the Browns Sanders selection in the fifth round, Kiper became a strange, emotional and long tangent that called the NFL evaluators for their inability to copy the field marshal in the last 50 years. To borrow a phrase from the Zary Book of the Z Generation, it was super “shocking.” It was difficult to see from the guy that many consider the “godfather” or modern draft coverage.
Here is the thing: Kiper is the same guy who said he would retire if the former Campo de Notre Dame, Jimmy Clausen, did not reach the NFL (he did not do so). Hey, although Russell would be the next coming of John Elway (it wasn’t). To top it off, he was a great defender for Lamar Jackson by changing the open receiver to have a better opportunity to do it as a successful professional (Spoiler alert: Jackson has multiple MVP as a field marshal).
Was this, in some way, the beginning of the end of Kiper as a respectable draft voice? I know that it sounds a bit overexamated, but there are a lot of young and promising draft voices that could easily intervene and provide the same coverage draft perspectives or NFL in the three days. I am already seeing people in X mentioning the idea of keeping Chickn out of the desk for next year.
I am not sure to disagree with that feeling.
RJ:
To be honest, I don’t have a passionate version of all this.
It was definitely predictable that it would be a strong and deeply hero opinion about the fall of Sanders, perhaps a reason why he hears, so if we allow Oduselves to move away, and Mel Kiper certainly exhibited passion at his point.
I think it is fine for him to defend that he found that the situation is absurd and unfair without calling the process in general. Acting as if any person is hitting for a .250 moment when evaluating the talent of the NFL draft is false. I know Michael mentioned Kiper’s mistakes in the evaluation in the past, but everyone loses. We are all sure of something that does not work or guarantees that a player will fail who prosper.
If I have a great meal to carry, it is sometimes well to say that you don’t know what is happening. In the case of Shedeur, there were obvious assumptions about his fame that derailed everything, but guessing in anything is really an advanced conjecture. I would personally have bone well if Chicker or someone would have offered something in the line of “Look, I cannot believe that this is happening … I do not have a logical explanation for it.”
Sometimes that is more than good.
Close your eyes and see the future … Who is winning oroty?

RJ:
There are a handful of options to choose from, obviously. Cam Ward de Tennessee will make a lot of sense and has the advantage of being a field marshal … Maybe in that sense, someone like Jaxson Dart will surprise us when entering the mixture and fleeing it.
As regards me, there is no reason or need to think too much and, therefore, I will go with Travis Hunter. The Jaguars were negotiated to achieve it and, throughout the hood of probability, they did not do so so that it was not a main part of their general operation. Trevor Lawrence needs a bouncing season … Mathematics makes too much sense.
From what is worth it, I do not have a ton of “Travel Hunter could be able to be awards Rookie of the Year”, but I will say that I will cover my bet a bit and guarantee that he wins at least one.
Miguel:
As much as I hate admitting it, I think the new Raiders corridor, Ashton Jeanty, will flee with the prize this year (absolutely planned words game).
The Raiders obtained their new titular field marshal by exchanging for Geno Smith, but I don’t see how Pete Carroll won to try to mount Jeanty with the promised land. I can see it. Smith goes to the closed wing Brock Bowers with one billion objectives because Jeanty’s effectiveness will maintain the open game action game. The letter will be fed, fed and fed and enrupted to win the offensive honor of the League of the year, just after his new teammate Bowers did it in 2024.
And yes, I am very bad knowing that the chargers will have to face the Raiders and Jeanty twice a year for the previous future. It is not exactly the same, but you feel a reminiscence of when I realized that Patrick Mahomes was going to be incredible and that I would have to see it dominate the screws every time I was pressing to be the choice of number 7 that year on Mike Williams.
Why did the team put your favorite draft class?

Miguel:
Many teams posted photos in X of all their Draft classes after the end of the third day. The only class that really made me stop and look was the Seattle Seahawks. This is a team that impressed me with its group full of size and athletics.
His first round selection, the offensive guard Gray Zabel, was one of the safest selections for an offensive liner in the class. It has 6’6 and a Mauler. Seattle then followed that collection by selecting the security of South Carolina, Nick Emmanwori, a security of 6’3 and 220 pounds that flew the doors of the NFL Combine.
The last two teams on day 2 were the wing of Miami Elijah Arroyo and the Alabama Jalen Milroe Marshal. Again, two types with immense athletics and dynamic game ability. The Seahawks do not even need a quarterback, but the offensive minds in the room will probably find a way that the elusive Milroe in the field marks the difference for his team as a rookie.
Finally, but not least, I have to shout his fifth selection of Fullback/Alabama closed wing, Robbie Outzs. This guy wore the best mustache in the NFL Combine and is a house.
There is much to love this group. After being the only team of 10 wins in the NFL that the playoffs is lost in 2024, wait for the Seahawks to be incredible motivated to never be in that position again.
RJ:
It hurts to say this, but I really like what New York giants did.
To be clear, I think that smart teams in the Philadelphia Eagles and Baltimore Ravens did everything usual, but I think the giants are at least one step closer to fixing everything he has been lying to those who the desire to act were incredible, but also the product of supreme fate).
I am proud of Arizona State Sun Devil and, therefore, I devastated that Cam Skattebo will run in my Dallas Cowboys twice a year in the prevailing future. The point is that the giants have begun to build an established nucleus of young offensive players in Skattebook and (obviously) Campo de Campo Jaxson Dart … Oh, and Abdul Carter now arrives at Reak Havoc and maybe even make life.
It is very easy for a team like the Eagles, as mentioned, remain elite. That is boring.
Seeing the giants to take a serious step forward is worth applause.
What was the most “” of course “draft selection of the whole group?

RJ:
Anyone who has seen the university football playoff knew that Jack Sawyer was going to be a fun choice for those who finally ended with him. The play he made for Ohio State to close the Cotton Bowl against the Longhorns was a dominant.
It was the playing child what the superstar defensive players do as TJ Watt, so, of course, fate would take Sawyer to the Pittsburgh Steelers. According to all measures, Sawyer seems like a guy who will grind forever and always makes it a perfect adjustment for the city of Steel.
If I can add to this, I will say that Will Howard, the field marshal of the state of Ohio de Sawyer, ending in Pittsburgh is something we are not talking about enough. I know we ask ourselves if Aaron Rodgers will finally continue signing there, but Howard presents a project to work for the future at least.
Miguel:
Jack Sawyer is a very good choice here.
For me, I cannot avoid choosing a team that, without losing a rhythm every year, finds a way to recruit a player who had no business available when they were on the clock on the first round. Of course, I am talking about the Philadelphia Eagles in some way to have the opportunity to choose the Alabama Jihaad Campbell supporter at number 31, when it was expected to leave the board anywhere from No. 8 to No. 15.
In a class that seemed to lack elite talent at the place of the supporter outside the ball, the advantage of the Eagles Tok and got the best boy in a position that seems to have been devalued in recent years. At the same time, if you look at the teams that have the most successful leg in recent years, everyone tends to use a fairly good player in the middle. Think of Zack Baun, who was extended by the Eagles this low season. The 49ers and Fred Warner. The Ravens and Roquan Smith. There seems to be a trend here.
The Eagles did not even need Campbell, but they touched him anyway because they really support the concept of choosing the best greedy player and guaranteed, on more than one occasion in this next season, we will defend the eagles ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, to “I can’t believe they were allowed to recruit this guy.”
