President Donald Trump recognized the beginning of Holy Week and the crucifixion and the resurrection of Jesus Christ, pointing out that “history was changed” at the time of the resurrection of Jesus Christ.
In a publication about Truth Social, Trump wrote about how “the pain and sacrifice of Jesus on the cross” was an example of “the unlimited love and devotion of God for all humanity.” Trump continued to wish Christians around the world a “happy and very blessed” Easter party.
“This Holy Week, Christians around the world remember the crucifixion of the only Son of God, Our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ and, on Easter Sunday, we celebrate their glorious resurrection and proclaim, as Christians have done!”
“Through the pain and sacrifice of Jesus on the cross, we saw the unlimited love and devotion of God for all humanity and, at that time of his resurrection, history changed forever with the promise of eternal life,” Trump continued in his position. “As We Approach this Joyous Easter Sunday, I Want To Wish Christians EveryWhere A Happy and Vley Blessed Holiday. America is a nation of Believers. We Need God, We Want God And, With His Help, We Will Make Nation Nation, and More Prepeme, and More Thperous, and more thperoous, and and thperpy, and sopperoous, and and tospers, and sopperoous, and so -greater, and more, and sopperoous, and so -el guterator, and sopperoous, and so -gran, and more, and sopperoous, and -greator, and sopperoous, and sopperoous, and thonperdous, and prescribe, and press Thononed.
In a presidential message, Trump highlighted how Holy Week “is a moment of reflection for Christians to commemorate Jesus’ crucifixion, and prepare their hearts, minds and souls for their miraculous resurrection of the dead.”
Starting with the triumphal entry of Christ in Jerusalem on Palm Sunday and culminating in the Triduum Pascual, which begins on Holy Thursday with the Mass of the Lord’s Supper, followed by Good Friday, and arriving in Itdacle in the Easter vigil in Holy. This week is a moment of reflection for Christians to commemorate Jesus’ crucifixion, and prepare their hearts, minds and souls for their miraculous resurrection of the dead.
“Duration this week, we recognize that Easter Sunday’s glory cannot come without the sacrifice that Jesus Christ did on the cross,” Trump continued. “In his last hours on earth, Christ voluntarily endured unbearable pain, torture and execution on the cross of a deep and permanent love for all its creation. Through its suffering, we have redemption. Through Histains. We have hope of eternal life, the stone moves away, the tomb is empty and the light prevails over the dark, pointing out that death does not have the final.”
Trump’s recognition of Holy Week occurs when the White House is preparing for a “extraordinary” Holy Week celebration, according to Fox News.
Jennifer Korn, the director of Faith of the White House Faith office, told The Outlet that “Trump will honor and celebrate Holy Week and Easter with the observance he deserves”, and added that “during the week” a Holy Week is sent, among other things.
“Through the week, we will distribute a proclamation of Holy Week, a special presidential video message (Y) we will organize a dinner prior to the size and a Easter service of the White House staff,” Korn explained.
