The new photos of the interior of the governor of Pennsylvania, Josh Shapiro, revealed the full scale of the destruction of the fire attack that set fire to the mansion of the historical governor.
The fire began around 2 in the morning on Sunday, while Shapiro’s family was sleeping. All were evacuated safely, but the fire was triggered, basting the tapestry paper and the floors and even the melting tables inside the state building, before it turned off.
Photo tasks of the Shapiro security equipment detail the total range of the fire. While some things like the lamps and cutlery used the night before the first seder of the Easter hero in the mansion were still intact, some rooms looked like a war after the fire.
A dining room where part of the place of celebration of the Seder on Saturday night was left without miraculously touching beyond a few chairs overturned, but another room was covered with black soot and burned furniture.
The residence of the Governor of Pennsylvania was inaugurated in 1968 after a quarterfinal parenthesis that captivated the Second World War that pushed the construction of the project to the road, according to the website of the Government of Pennsylvania. Governor Raymond Shafer and his wife were the first to move to the mansion.
Shapiro’s emergency evacuation marked the second in the history of the residence.
In 1972, the house flooded the duration of Hurricane and Tok in about five feet of water. The mansion took two years to be restored.
It is not clear how long the house can take this time, or what can be saved exactly from the fire.
Cody Balmer, the 38 -year -old suspect arrested by the attack, supposedly climbed a fence and launched a homemade device in the house to start the fire. Then he jumped over the fence and fled the scene, managing to evade the authorities until Sunday afternoon.
Balmer is expected to face charges of murder, terrorism, fire caused and aggravated assault against a person listed, authorities said.
The authorities believe that the attack was “directed” and has not published any additional information about a reason. Shapiro, who is Jewish, suggested that the attack may have motivated the bone by anti -Semitism, but researchers have not been able to confirm or deny their theory.
