Gabby Petito’s father has joined the search for an Arizona geologist who has been disappeared since 2021, according to a report.
Joseph Petito, whose daughter Gabby stimulated national attention when she disappeared in August 2021 only to be found dead, was among the 100 volunteers to appear in Buckeye, Arizona, to look for Daniel Robinson, a geologist who disappeared in June 2021,
“It is inspiring, the amount of energy that is needed to do what it does with the anguish and ignorance that comes on every day,” Petito told The Outlet.
David Robinson, the father of the missing man, decided to seek his son continuous.
“I’m a leg count [David] For years, really because to go out and I saw this to come and I thought ‘I don’t care what the schedule is, I go for you friend, “he said.
Robinson, 24, was last seen on June 23, 2021, leaving his workplace in the suburbs west of Phoenix, according to the Republic of Arizona.
He left the work in a Renegade Blue Jeep that morning and didn’t tell anyone where he was going.
His jeep was found a month later, he rolled in a ravine with the airbags deployed. The cell phone, wallet and Robinson’s keys were found on the scene, according to the article.
The widely publicized search and recovery mission of Gabby renewed the demand of authorities to find Robinson in September 2021, when his remains were discovered in a Wyoming National Park.
The two parents have joined by the experience of the frantic search of their missing children, with Petito hoping that David Robinson can have a happy ending for the search he.
“There will never be a closure about the death of a child, but the grieving process is starting correctly, and David has not yet been able to do it. With luck, Daniel is safe, but if the worst come true, it is when that grieving process will come true for David and his family,” Petito said.
The volunteers toured Sun Valley Parkway and Rosewood Avenue in Buckeye as part of a search for three parts, The Outlet reported.
“We are not looking for Daniel here. We are looking for remains,” David told ABC15
“I am his father, so I will always be here to make sure I continue to fight and read for him and find the justice he deserves,” David said.
“I look at this 50th search as possible to be one of the latest searches that I have in the desert. What I am trying to do is collect information with the Buckeyye Police Department, which is now reviewing much of the commome so that I go to EAG, what area we should approach below,” he said.
