A private plane that crashed in the north of the state of New York on the weekend was to take a very close family from doctors and distinguish recent athletes students, destined for a trip to the Catskills for a birthday celebration and Easter holidays.

Santoro said his son first with Groff as a first -year student studied at MIT. Groff, who grew up in Weston, Massachusetts, was an American football player studied biomedical engineering. Santoro, a New Jersey mathematics student, played Lacrosse for school.

On Saturday morning, they traveled to an airport in White Plains, a suburb of New York City, where they boarded Michael Groff’s private plane, according to John Santoro.
They were prepared to land at the Columbia County Airport, but approximately 20 miles crashed to the south.
