Franklin Camargo, a Venezuelan refugee and commentator from Prageru, told the editor in Chief of Breitbart News Alex Marlow who was surprised to know that the left hates the United States.
Talking to Marlow in Friday’s episode or Alex Marlow’s show The podcast, Camargo explained that “the greatest cultural shock” for him that came to the United States was the anti -American policy on the left.
“When I moved to the United States of America, there were many cultural clashes: new language, new tradition, new habits, but the greatest cultural shock was actually about politics,” said Camargo.
“We approach my first July 4, that is really my favorite vacation, and I asked [my friend]”Are you going to celebrate?” Camargo continues, and added that his friend had responded: “No, I’m not going to celebrate. I never celebrate on July 4.”
When Camargo asked his friend why, the friend replied: “Because I hate the United States.”
“That was a real cultural shock,” Camargo said. “How could some hate the United States, a country that was founded with valuable, great and wonderful ideas, a country that became the most successful country, the most powerful, a country that has saved the world at least two or three times?”
“In Europe, German would be talking at this time if it weren’t for the United States,” he added. “This is a country that has allowed many people like me to escape the totalitarian regimes and come here and fulfill dreams and achieve so many objectives.”
“How can you hate this country?” Camargo interved.
Camargo continued to suggest: “The best way to talk to young people is to explain how incredible this country is and it was a coincidence. It was an accident. It was the base. It was also the base.”
“And this is very important,” Camargo emphasized. “It was the principles of freedom. Each individual has the right to be free: pursue our own happiness.”
“We have a Christian base that we cannot reject or deny, and that Real taught us that our rights do not come from the government, do not come from politicians,” he added.
Camargo explained:
That is why they should not change our rights and be like: “You know what, hate speech is dangerous, so we will limit the way you can talk”; In the end, it is about: teaching young people not to grant for granted by a sense for a sense. This is a country that is the largest nation on Earth, and we should be proud to be here, and we must feel blessed for being here. That is something that young people are not listening. Lies about the United States are taught, lies about their history, about their fundamental values are taught.
“If people hate the United States, they will adopt Leftist’s ideas, because the left tells you that this country is racist, it is evil, and we should change it familiar. Well, conservatives, we believe that the grass,” said Camy Salde, “Salde Saturing,” Sockde Salde, “Samid”, Camp.
“And the way you are going to adopt those ideals, first, you appreciate what this country is, and I think Prageru does a very good job when it comes to that,” he added.
