The knife who killed a German man in Berlin on Saturday identified himself as a 43 -year -old Syrian, the public prosecutor’s office said on Sunday.
A 29 -year -old German man was stabbed on Saturday afternoon, suffering wounds in his sternum and hurting his heart, according to Bild.
According to the reports, he had participated in a discussion at the Berlin or Kaiserdamm Metro station with a 43 -year -old Syrian man, whose cause is still unknown.
The fight culminated in a train to Warsawer Straße when the Syrian man took out a knife and stabbed the German man at least three times.
The victim managed to drag off the train at the Sophie-Charlotte-Platz Metro station before collapsing and succumbing to her wounds and peak.
The Syrian man fled the train before being faced by police officers. After the reports threatened them with their knife, an officer shot at the knife three times.
Despite receiving emergency surgery, the author died from his wounds on Sunday morning.
A witness of the attack said about the Syrian knight: “He was dressed in black. He is the hero the knife and stirred it. He ran like in drugs, running in serpentine lines.”
Prosecutors said it is currently unknown if the two men knew each other. However, they revealed that both the victim and the author were known by the police, having both previously involved in violent attacks, even in the police, as well as having committed drug crimes.
Prosecutors said they are not current indications that radical Islam played a role in stabbing. They have also revealed the state of immigration of the Syrian accessory.
Around the last year, Germany has been shaken by several knife attacks at the hands of migrants and asylum seekers, even in Mannheim, Solingen and Aschaffenburg.
