A Canadian television journalist called a nine -year -old boy and his tutor for shouting an aggressive sexual comment while recording a segment.
Michelle Mackey, journalist from CityNews Toronto, was filming a segment outside the city’s Rogers center and describing the scenes when a child and a man walked.
“F – K his right in the p – and”, shouted the boy while Mackey worked. The man with whom he was exploding from the disturbing comment.
Mackey’s face changed professional to one of anger and disgust on the spot.
The child was returning life a meme that was a popular meme a decade ago where people would like to shout at the bottom of the journalists who were filming.
However, it originates in a series of videos of the filmmaker John Cain that were published in 2014. Internet then ran with him, and was generally used to harass journalists.
“This was one of the most alarms that I have witnessed as a news reporter. What seemed to be an 8 or 9 -year -old boy shouted at me, with his father by his side. Processed to laugh and get away,” Mackey Way.
“Out of respect for the child, I am unlocking my face. If this is shouted at a man or a woman, perpetuates and normalizes misogyny. I thought that this horrible trend was over.”
In an interview with NBC Today, Mackey said he was “disturbed” by the child’s actions.
“I greet you again … I just wanted to look at that father and a child in the eye and say:” Can you tell me again, look me in the eye like a human being? “
“But they would like to come back. They just laughed and gave me a thumb up and kept walking.”
She said the child was very young and that the adult with him should enter and told her what she did not be well, instead of promoting him laughing. She said the phrase was “violating.”
“It is likely to go to this from a place of humor, and you probably think that this is fun and not Harpher, but I just hope I can consult the word that came out of his mouth … and really think about what those words in the eyes … they,” he said.
The loaded Mackey attracted a lot of attention. Many people divided, and some said it was just a joke and others calling the child’s actions.
“FHRITP in 2025 is crazy,” said one.
Another user of social networks commented: “Why are everyone so angry, nobody remembers the original?”
“Ah misoginia, even teaching our children’s OK to be violent with women. I am very sorry that this happened to you,” said one.
One added: “This is literally what adolescence It is and the men in the comments are not yet understanding it. “
Another person described him as a “classic meme” and suggested that the journalist needed to “get with the times.”
