The Marin County Supervisors Board is considering a loan of $ 5.2 million to support a habitat project of 80 units for humanity housing in northern rookie, the county announced Thursday.
Located in 8161 Redwood Blvd., the development would include 60 houses designated for low -income families, authorities said.
The proposed loan would help cover the development and construction costs of prediction for the $ 84 million project, said the press release.
The site is near the Smart railway station in San Marin Drive and a few miles from the rookie center.
Sales prices for homes are expected to range between $ 467,000 and $ 690,000. All units will be distributed through a lottery system, with habitat for humanity that provides financial advice and training in maintenance of the household to qualified families.
