Isaiah Bond, the former Texas open receiver was projected as a probable selection of the second day in the NFL draft of this month, was delivered to an outstanding sexual assault order during the morning of the day.
The 21 -year -old was released from Collin County prison after publishing a bail of $ 25,000, according to the Dallas Morning News, That quoted police spokesman Gont Cottham in Frisco, a city outside Dallas.
AP reports that Bond made a public statement on social networks that described the “obviously false” statements.
“Regarding the accusation made against me, I would appreciate the time and the opportunity to defend myself and prove the claims made, obviously false,” said Bond in X. “I am in full cooperation with the authorities and I will remain a bit willing and active.

“Unfortunately, claims how these prove to be harmful to all involved, in the absence of a complete review. I kindly request that everyone reserve the trial until the authorities provide a complete report based on truth and evidence.”
Bond is originally native to Georgia and was the recruit of sixth football classified in the state for the 2022 class, according to 247Sports.
Alabama chosen on boxes or scholarship sacrifices and spent its first two university seasons with the crimson tide and transferred to Texas after the legendary Alabama coach, Nick Saban.
Bond played a season with the Longhorns in 2024. He caught 34 passes for 540 yards and five touchdowns and declared for the NFL draft after the season.
