The condemned helicopter pilot who crashed into the Hudson River was a veteran from Navy Seal, and published a chilling video last month flying with pride in the same type of helicopter about Lower Manhattan.
“When everything joins …”, Sean Johnson, 36, published together with Facebook’s now Facebook images, who showed him in a Bell 206 helicopter.
The friends congratulated him in his comments, with a position that he was “living the dream.”
Johnson, who recently moved to New York City to continue his aviation career, was operating a Bell 206 on Thursday as part of a tourist tour for a family of five in Barcelona. He lived in states like Illinois, Virginia and Montana.
It is not clear if the helicopter that was flying in the Facebook images was the same in which he crashed this week.
Johnson and his family of tourists: Agustin Escobar, his wife, Mercè Camprubí Montal, and their children from 4 to 8 and 10 years, were killed when the helicopter in which they were broken in the air and lunch in the murky waters.
Johnson “always wanted to fly,” said his wife Kathryn Johnson to Gothamist.
“I’m losing words,” he told The Outlet. “I don’t know what happened.”
