Bassist Scott Shrner promised Weezer’s Coachella performance after his wife, Jillian Shrner, was shot by police and accused of murder attempt after a police chase.
On Thursday, the rocker “Island in the Sun” was walking with his four dogs in his neighborhood in Los Angeles when he said to the post: “She is fine, thanks for asking.”
“See you in Coachella!”
Scott, 59, kept his head up for the excursion and quickly returned home.
Earlier this week, Weezer announced that they would go to Indian, California, for the weekend one of Coachella.
“A desert surprise 🌵 See you in @coachella on the Mojave stage next Saturday @ 3:10 🤘iber,” they wrote on Instagram.
She is an uncle if Jillian, 51, will attend the Music Festival to support her husband.
