Mark Consuels has an unfortunate habit of forgetting his character’s names.
At the beginning of this morning’s recording or Live with Kelly and Mark, The Kelly Rip Coanfrerion shared an interesting report on the productivity of a wandering thinking train.
“When your mind wanders, your brain is learning better than you think it is,” he shared. “Help with learning and increase your ability to capture patterns in the world around you.”
For those of us who are easily distracted, this can be good news. He certainly did it for Consuelos, who shared a hilarious story about an uncomfortable encounter he had with a journalist.
While on a press tour for your 2016 Fox show Passed” Consuelos attended a breakfast with journalists where he was asked to answer some questions about the program at different tables.
“I was doing the same: my mind was wandering and I was thinking about something else,” said Insuelos. “And they asked me about my character and how the name occurred.”
The only problem? He had completely forgotten the name of his character.
“It’s not the name,” Ripa laughed. “You always forget your character’s name! It’s one thing!”
Consuels admitted: “At the time, I really forgot my character’s name.”
In his defense, he had only triggered the pilot episode at that time, and had also been working on two other projects. So what did he say in response to the question?
“I looked at the journalist in my eyes, I grabbed my phone and said:” It’s my wife, I’ll be back! “For the fun of the audience.
I consolation then excused the hall to search the name of his character, which turned out to be Oscar.
Ripa had the subway, “You’re a good actor, you pretended that phone call!”
“I’m not sure they bought it,” Consoles replied.
If I could, just answer this first question, I wonder how the rest of the interview was!
