A brute attacked a driver of the Bronx MTA in the face with a metal scooter in a body to melee early that ended with a second wounded employee when he tried to stop the accessor, police and sources said.
The masculine suspect, believed that he was in his adolescence or the early 20 years, was still on board the train No. 5 just after midnight, since the 46-year-old operator tried to clarify it at the last stop, Eastchester-Dyre Avenue, according to the authorities and sources.
The persistent rider then enraged, throwing his scooter to a 37 -year -old director who was also on the scene, police said.
Then, the operator intervened and ran his thumb in an attempt to grab the accessor’s arm, the sources said.
The suspicious crazy then left the subway tracks, through a tunnel towards the next stop, Baychester Avenue, the fountains said.
Both workers were tasks for Mount Vernon Hospital, where they were included in a stable state, police said.
The assailant, last seen with a gray sweatshirt and black pants, had not caught his leg on Wednesday.
