PJ Blue, a former university supporter from the University of Louisville, died, the school announced.
I was 27 years old.
Blue had a difficult start in his university career. Alabama’s native broke his ACL after committing to Louisville in 2016 and would not play for the cardinals until 2018. Once in the countryside, Blue had a strong impact, making 39 cup in 11 games. However, another knee injury would derail its 2019 season, and Blue never played football again.
“We are sad for the death of the cardinal forever PJ Blue,” Louisville said in a publication about X. “Our thoughts are with their loved ones.”
The taxes of former teammates and friends flowed.
“It’s never good when you lose your players,” wrote Angelo Wheeler, director of Athletics of Charles Henderson High School. “Prayers to the family and all who knew him #Rip PJ Blue. Coaches you have to stay with your boys through the life of life
The feats of the Blue High School were well documented. It was an All-American All-American and an American candidate All-American. Several conferences were interested in Blue, including Alabama, Clemson and Ole Miss. Instead of staying at home and playing in Alabama, Blue went to Kentucky to play for Louisville.
There was no cause of death.
