The Bollywood star, Jasleen Royal, faces a front disaster.
In January, the 33 -year -old Indian singer opened for Coldplay in his Music of the Spheres World Tour in Mumbai. But Royal’s performance turned out to be a complete disaster and the audience was awaited on the stage at the Dy Patil stadium.
Three months later, Royal has opened about the incident with his new 17 -minute mini “Dare to Dream” documentary, which presents images of before, duration and after the concert.
In an early scene, Royal, the first Indian singer to open for Chris Martin’s band, said two months before the show: “I think the universe was pre -emphasized for this. The universe is giving me what I have asked and I need to prepare.”
Duration One of the final trials, Royal told the camera that he did not “want to disappoint anyone.”
“The members of my band, my team, my managers, Coldplay for giving us this opportunity and for choosing me as many people,” he shared. “I hope you feel good about your decision.”
While in Backstage before the show with exhausted tickets, Royal asked his band: “What do you think, are we prepared?” After a letter pause, someone in the band responded silently: “Yes.”
But shortly after taking the stage, Royal was with Angry and Jeers of the crowd.
“She testified her performance and she was a disaster,” said a fan who was in the program in the doctor. “Maybe he had a cold and very bad cough.”
After the performance, a crew member told Royal: “For the technical part, we regret it. The creative part, I leave you.”
Royal blamed the incident to its malfunction of internal monitors. He returned to the stadium the next day for his second planned performance as the opening act of Coldplay.
“There is a lot of pressure,” he told his team in his dressing room. “I will die. I swear I will die. I’m still processing. There is much to process.”
But, as the documentary showed, Royal’s second show shot without problems. This time, the audience fans cheered their performance.
The controversy that involved Royal was ultimately eclipsed by Coldplay itself due to the comments made by Martin, 48, on stage.
In the first show at the Dy Patil stadium, Martin told the crowd: “Thank you for welcoming us, although we are from Great Britain. Thank you for forging us despite everything Great Britain did.” (The British government previously ruled India as a colony from 1858 to 1947).
Martin’s colonialism comments are used to viral on social networks and caused fans mixing reactions. He has not yet approached the incident.
