Heidi Klum has been the queen of celebrity Halloween costumery for more than 20 years. She has maintained her position by providing tricks, treats, and outrageous ensembles. Attendees to her yearly celebration arrive in gurneys, spaceships, biohazard trucks, and clouds of smoke.
And that’s before the actual looks are discussed.
Klum told The Hollywood Reporter in 2018 that she “immediately fell in love with Halloween and the spookiness of it” when she first immigrated to the country in 1993. A wonderful celebration was the only thing lacking. For me, it seemed like a genuine opportunity.
Since then, Klum has devoted countless hours—and probably thousands of dollars—on hair, cosmetics, and prosthetics in order to get ready for her star-studded celebration. Her aim is to pull off a Halloween costume that no one has ever dared to attempt before.
Earlier this month, Klum told People magazine, “You have no idea how many sleepless nights I have over Halloween.” I’m limited to doing this on the day; I can’t practice. Every time, I hope it turns out well.
She told THR that she usually starts thinking about her next costume the day after Halloween due to her eagerness and the necessity for enough time to make such intricate costumes. Though Klum did tease Entertainment Tonight that “it’s going to be very colorful, and super big,” we still don’t know what she has planned for this Halloween season. For now, meanwhile, enjoy some of her most well-known Halloween ensembles from previous years, which span from 2022 to the early aughts.
