Wandering, who is Marcel Yoshida? Well, this passionate guy (45) is a German citizen, born in Brazil to Japanese/Italian parents and speaks eight languages. But wait a minute; there is much more to this guy than what you read right now. He is the one who started by being a part of the corporate world and being a Mechanical Engineer with a Masters in Leadership & Management, and now is navigating his way in the world of music as a rising musician. In November 2022, he joined the NIO as Head of Europe Service Operations Support, but before joining it, he previously worked as a Global Manager of Sales and Aftersales for Ultra-Limited-Supercars at Italdesign-Giugiaro (part of the AUDI AG Group), where he gained seasoned global and cosmopolitan experience and experience in the complete automotive commercial chain, from marketing, sales to aftersales, OEM, wholesales, and retail, including Lamborghini, Audi Sport, Senna Import (the official importer for Audi in Brazil, founded by legendary F1 World Champion, Ayrton Senna).
He wanted to grow beyond being an Executive Manager/Engineer and thus went ahead in becoming a semi-professional/free-time musician (drummer and percussionist). Speaking on the same, Marcel Yoshida says, “I consider music a crucial educational factor in my abilities and soft skills to communicate with people and also in my work as an Executive Manager in the Automotive Industry.” He even played the drums in a recorded album with a Jazz & Bossa Nova Quartet called “Perifazz.”
