Jodee Singz and her career in the Haitian music industry!

Joanne Dumerand (Jodee Singz,) is a young American singer from Newark, NJ. She began her musical career as a background vocalist for various artists ranging from gospel to contemporary.

Jodee has been singing since the age of five, however she began to create and compose at the age of 10. His first appearance in the Haitian music industry was with vayb, providing phenomenal background vocals on well-known songs such as “Je Ferai”. She was also a background vocalist with “Nu-Look” and various other bands. Note, many times she sang the country’s national anthem at the opening of certain ceremonies in honor of Haiti.

Her first solo track, in February 2020, was “Banm Mwen Lanmou” featuring Orlando band “Klimax”, which was a remix of Alicia Keys “No One”. Today, she delivers her new single “Yon Ti Mo” which is her version of the original zouk love song by the famous Émeline Michel.
